Roles & Responsibilities

Implement and optimize clinical information systems to enhance patient care and streamline workflows
Provide hands-on training and support to nursing and clinical staff on electronic health record (EHR) usage
Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to troubleshoot system issues and recommend improvements
Analyze clinical workflows and design system configurations to improve efficiency and safety
Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and informatics to ensure technology meets clinical needs
Participate in go-live support, system upgrades, and ongoing optimization projects

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska
Experience in clinical informatics, EHR implementation, or nursing informatics
Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare technology
Excellent communication and training skills

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, such as Epic or Cerner
Understanding of clinical decision support and data analysis
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
