Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Primarily 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, variable start times available; on-call shift every 6 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and assess for complications with precision
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on post-op care and discharge instructions
Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed
Document accurately in Epic EMR to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum 1 year of PACU, ED, or ICU experience required
Experience with Epic EMR is highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Proficient in IV therapy and medication administration
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to handle fast-paced, high-acuity situations with calm confidence
