Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, days (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM) and nights (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM), every other weekend and holidays as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to PCU patients with cardiac, medical-surgical, and critical care needs
Monitor and titrate drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed to support PCU acuity patients
Assist with procedures like arterial line management and dialysis

Qualifications

Valid RN license required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with arterial lines and cardiac drips preferred
Must be flexible, adaptable, and a strong team player
Driver's license required to verify 50-mile radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

PCU and cardiac nursing
Telemetry and rhythm interpretation
Titration of cardiac drips
Arterial line management
Excellent communication and teamwork
Ability to take feedback and adapt
