Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM / 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), including every other weekend and every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced PCU environment
Titrate and monitor critical drips, including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Manage continuous EEG monitoring and care for patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and DM conditions
Collaborate with charge nurses and multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain a positive attitude and strong communication to support unit success

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Valid driver's license
Must pass open-book exam with 90% during orientation
Ability to float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in titrating intravenous drips
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
