Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Lincoln, NE

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; call every other weekend and rotating weeknights

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of general ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, and breast imaging
Assist with breast biopsies, IR procedures, and OR cases
Conduct neonatal head, kidney, and spine imaging in the NICU
Operate Siemens Sequoia ultrasound equipment and use EPIC and McKesson PACS
Communicate effectively with radiologists and other providers to ensure quality patient care
Transport patients when department volumes are low

Qualifications

Active ARDMS certification required
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Experience in abdominal and OB/GYN ultrasound a must
Comfort and familiarity with breast imaging and procedures
Ability to scan neonatal heads, kidneys, and spines
Valid driver's license and ability to confirm residency outside 50-mile radius

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC and McKesson PACS
Skilled with Siemens ultrasound equipment
Knowledge of Trophon probe cleaning system
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
