Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with varied start times; call rotations including evenings, weekends, and nights

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in a variety of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries in a 4-suite CVOR
Circulate and scrub for open and robotic procedures using da Vinci XI
Collaborate with charge nurses and surgical team to ensure smooth case flow
Maintain sterile field and adhere to safety protocols
Participate in call rotation covering evenings, weekends, and holidays
Cross-train in main OR for vascular cases as needed

Qualifications

BLS certification required
Washington state Surgical Technologist license required
Experience in CVOR preferred; robotics experience a plus
30-minute call response time required
Commitment to a 13-week contract with 40 hours/week

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
Knowledge of robotic surgery procedures (da Vinci XI)
Understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy and surgical instruments
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
