Roles & Responsibilities

Single scrub cardiac surgeries
Scrub in main OR for various specialties including ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and gynecology
Prepare and maintain sterile field
Assist surgeons during procedures
Ensure proper handling of surgical instruments

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
BLS certification
Experience in CVOR
Ability to single scrub cardiac cases

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of surgical procedures in cardiac, ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and gynecology
Sterile technique
Instrumentation for various surgeries
Ability to anticipate surgeon needs
