Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied 12-hour shifts, including weeknights and weekends, with call rotation (1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac, coronary, vascular, peripheral, and neuro procedures
Scrub and monitor hemodynamics during cases
Assist with conscious and moderate sedation while managing patient airways
Administer and monitor cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
Operate balloon pumps and handle emergency situations in a STEMI receiving facility
Collaborate with a team of 2-3 techs and an RN per case

Qualifications

ARRT certification required (RCIS or CCT not accepted)
California Fluoroscopy license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of current cath lab experience (no first-time travelers)
Comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, airway management, cardiac drips, and balloon pumps
Experience with cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, IR, and neuro interventions

Knowledge & Skills

Cath Lab procedures and protocols
Conscious and moderate sedation techniques
Cardiac drip administration (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors)
Balloon pump management
STEMI and emergency response
Hemodynamic monitoring
Neuro intervention and IR expertise
