Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekend rotation (3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care to high-acuity cardiac surgery, transplant, and trauma patients
Manage advanced hemodynamics including IABP, CRRT, and ECMO
Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary team in a Level I Trauma Center
Perform bedside procedures such as central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertions
Float to other ICUs and telemetry units as needed, ensuring safe patient ratios
Monitor telemetry and respond to cardiac rhythms using Philips system

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona (compact accepted)
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; CVICU experience strongly preferred
Must have Level I Trauma experience
CCRN certification is a plus
Strong IV skills and proficiency in sterile technique
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam and SIMs lab on day one

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Expertise in cardiac surgery recovery, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO
Strong understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to quickly adapt to high-stress, fast-paced environments
