Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with call one weekday per week and one weekend per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform scrubbing duties to hold the heart and assist with chest closure during open heart surgeries
Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing open heart, TAVR, endovascular, and thoracic procedures
Collaborate with a dedicated team of surgeons and OR techs in a state-of-the-art CVOR suite
Manage patient care pre-, intra-, and post-operatively with precision and compassion
Float to General OR as needed, supporting team flexibility

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted RN license
Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience with open heart and endovascular cases
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Willingness to scrub into cases as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Epic EMR
Strong knowledge of open heart and endovascular surgical procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond within 30 minutes for call
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
