Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, includes every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting across multiple facilities within Zone 1
Float seamlessly between Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, St. Francis InterQuest, St. Mary Corwin, and St. Thomas More
Assess, prioritize, and treat patients with diverse conditions including abdominal pain, diabetes, NSTEMI, pneumonia, trauma, stroke, and hypertension
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency care
Perform point-of-care lab testing and interpret telemetry strips
Maintain patient safety and positive outcomes in a dynamic environment

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 1-2 years of recent ER experience preferred
Must hold current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple ERs
Strong critical thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced setting

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in emergency nursing procedures and protocols
Skilled in telemetry interpretation and point-of-care testing
Knowledge of trauma, stroke, and STEMI care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to adjust to different facility workflows
