Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to MS-Tele patients across multiple units and facilities in Zone 3
• Float within a 60-mile radius to hospitals including OrthoColorado, Longmont United, St. Anthony, and St. Anthony North
• Titrate heparin drips and manage patients with cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and other conditions
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient populations as part of the float pool
• Complete documentation and maintain compliance with all required certifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MS-Tele experience required
• Current RN license in Colorado or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Neuro experience preferred; experience with heparin titration required
• Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and adapt to different facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for MS-Tele patients
• Proficiency in ECG interpretation and cardiac monitoring
• Experience with telemetry and managing patients on drips
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to handle varied schedules and floating assignments
