Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to Med Surg patients, monitoring vital signs and administering medications
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience
BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and build rapport with diverse patients

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of Med Surg nursing protocols and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Compassionate patient-centered care approach
