Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts, 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, schedule varies by unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray exams on patients of all ages using GE equipment
Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety protocols
Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic and other imaging procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Meditech system
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

Must hold ARRT (R) certification in Radiologic Technology
Active BLS certification required
Valid Virginia state license as a Radiologic Technologist
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in X-ray/radiology

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with GE imaging equipment
Experience with Meditech electronic medical records system
Strong understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
