Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week including every other weekend and rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse med-surg patient population
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms to ensure patient safety
Perform wound care, drain management (chest tubes, JP drains), foley insertions, and central line dressing changes
Administer medications and IV therapy, including CBI and EKGs as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Engage in bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and personal connections to enhance patient experience
Float to same level of care units as needed to support hospital operations

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent med-surg nursing experience
BLS certification required
IV certification required
Telemetry experience preferred
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong med-surg and telemetry nursing skills
Proficient in IV therapy and medication administration
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of Meditech Expanse documentation system
Ability to manage multiple patients with varying acuity
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
