Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy including aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, and ventilator management
Perform advanced procedures like intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during daily rounding to enhance patient care
Rotate through all inpatient units including two 10-bed ICUs
Document patient care using Meditech system

Qualifications

Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care and emergency care settings
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP
Proficiency in ventilator management and BiPAP therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Critical Care and Emergency Care expertise
Aerosol treatments and medication delivery
Ventilator management with Puritan Bennett 980, Vapotherm, and Phillips V60+
Bedside ABG analysis using Siemens EPOC
Meditech documentation system
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to float and adapt to different units
