Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, specialized care to critically ill neonates in a Level 3 NICU
Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
Operate advanced equipment including medfusion pumps, alaris pumps, GE monitors, and giraffe isolettes
Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal outcomes
Document patient progress accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
Support families with education and emotional care during their baby's NICU journey

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience (required)
Active RN license (Texas or compact state)
Travel nursing experience preferred
BLS and NRP certifications required
Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with medfusion pumps, alaris pumps, and GE monitors
Experience with giraffe isolettes and neonatal critical care
Strong documentation skills using CPN and Meditech
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
