Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Block scheduling with flexibility, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for acute inpatient patients
Facilitate early mobilization and assess mobility status to promote recovery
Determine patients' safety for discharge to home or need for transfer to a rehabilitation unit
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including COTAs and nursing staff
Provide skilled occupational therapy services across Medical/Surgical, IMC, and ICU units

Qualifications

Current Colorado Occupational Therapy license required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Experience in acute inpatient care, including ICU and orthopedics, preferred
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of 8-10 patients per day

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills for acute care populations
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Proficiency in early mobilization and discharge planning
Knowledge of CVA/stroke rehabilitation and general neuropathy management
