Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and follow-ups with independence
Perform communication evaluations and develop follow-up care plans
Administer standardized tests in an outpatient hospital setting
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care
Manage a caseload of 7-8 patients per day, blending outpatient and inpatient visits

Qualifications

Active CCC-SLP credential (required)
Current BLS certification
COVID vaccine required (exemptions considered)
Experience with bedside swallow evaluation and communication evaluation
Ability to float to St. Francis, St. Clare, and St. Anthony facilities as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in speech-language pathology for acute inpatient and outpatient settings
Proficiency in swallow evaluation and communication assessment
Skilled in administering standardized outpatient tests
Ability to work with diverse patient populations including post-concussion, CVA, TBI, and head & neck cancer
Strong independence and clinical decision-making skills
