Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends (4 weekend shifts per 8 weeks)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to neuro telemetry patients with conditions such as CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, and encephalopathy
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate drips including Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient assessments and care planning
Perform bedside report and ensure accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
Float to tele units and tele overflow in ICU as needed
Maintain sterile field during central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertion

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent neuro telemetry experience required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Neuro experience highly preferred
Must have own vehicle for travel to multiple campuses
Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings; men must be clean shaven for fit test

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Experience with Cerner EMR and WOWs
Competent in titration of cardiac drips
Strong understanding of sterile technique
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
