Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging procedures with precision and compassion
Operate Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and E.CAM systems (training provided for experience with other equipment)
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure patient safety and comfort
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Maintain detailed patient records and adhere to radiation safety protocols using provided badges
Uphold infection control standards, including artificial nail policy compliance

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
PET/CT experience required
DOT Certification preferred at start, required within 90 days for contract extension
Valid driver's license required for distance verification
No state nuclear medicine license needed for this position
Candidates must reside outside 50-mile radius from Omaha or not be employed with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and radiation safety
Comfortable with Siemens PET/CT and E.CAM systems or willingness to learn
Strong patient communication and care skills
Attention to detail for accurate image acquisition and record keeping
Ability to work independently without call or weekend commitments
