Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends, with options for day (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and night (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) shifts

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to oncology and trauma patients in a fast-paced PCU/MedSurg unit
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions with precision
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for holistic patient outcomes
Manage central lines, titrate drips like heparin and cardizem, and perform hemodynamic monitoring

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology experience; first-time travelers welcome
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Chemotherapy certification required (ONS/ONCC)
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Willingness to learn, adapt, and work as a team

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Skills in titrating intravenous drips and managing central lines
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
