Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Location: Redding, California

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 ten-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, every 3rd weekend, holidays in rotation with perm staff

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques
Document progress and adjust treatments as needed

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years of experience in specialty
Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience
Open to first-time travelers - welcome!
Current BLS certification required
Active California OT license required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Strong clinical assessment skills
Excellent communication and teamwork
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced rehab unit
