Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and minimal microbiology
Operate and maintain advanced lab equipment including Abbott Architect, Stago, Gem 500, Beckman Coulter DxH, and more
Utilize Cerner LIS for specimen tracking and result reporting
Adhere to strict quality control and safety protocols
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications

Active CLS license and CDPH license (California required)
BLS certification
Experience in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and minimal microbiology
ASCP certification is preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with laboratory information systems, especially Cerner
Strong knowledge of lab instrumentation such as Abbott Architect, Stago, Gem 500, and Beckman Coulter
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
