Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekend and holiday rotations

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to adult and neonatal patients in an inpatient setting
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analyze results
Set up and manage bipap and ventilator support (PB 980, Philips V60)
Administer nebulizer treatments and assist with conscious sedation and cardioversion
Collaborate with lead therapists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Support level 2 nursery with bubble CPAP and ventilator management for infants 32 weeks and up

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license required
At least 1-2 years of NICU experience strongly preferred
Competent in ventilator management, bipap, and bubble CPAP
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (required)
RRT or CRT credential accepted

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ventilator skills and familiarity with PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis
Experience with neonatal bubble CPAP and level 2 nursery care
Proficient in ABG draws, bipap setup, nebulizer treatments, and conscious sedation standby
Ability to assist with intubations and cardioversion procedures
