Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with weekend and holiday requirements

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and surgical patients
Monitor telemetry and manage cardiac drips such as dopamine, dobutamine, and amiodarone
Float across multiple PCU/IMC units within Zone 1, covering up to five facilities
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Titrate medications including insulin, ativan, and heparin as needed
Maintain patient safety and positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and ativan management
Comfortable floating within a 60-mile radius zone
Prefer prior neuro and Epic experience

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and cardiac drip titration
Neurological assessment and monitoring
Epic EMR proficiency
Strong critical thinking and adaptability
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
