Roles & Responsibilities

Provide precise radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed
Operate and maintain advanced radiation equipment safely
Collaborate with oncologists and medical team for optimal patient care
Educate patients on treatment procedures and side effect management
Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery
Document treatment sessions thoroughly in medical records

Qualifications

Certified Radiation Therapist (ARRT) required
State licensure as a Radiation Therapist in Nebraska
Experience with linear accelerators and treatment planning systems
BLS certification from AHA preferred
Strong attention to detail and patient communication skills

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in radiation oncology protocols and safety standards
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
Ability to handle complex treatment setups
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
