Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to MedSurg and ER patients
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients with efficiency and compassion
Start IVs, titrate medications, and manage PICC/Port lines
Participate in codes: cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis
Respond to traumas and stabilize patients for transport
Read and interpret telemetry strips and EKGs
Float between MedSurg and Emergency Department as needed
Work independently with minimal staff, communicating directly with hospitalists

Qualifications

Must have ER experience to be considered
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Ability to titrate drips such as Insulin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Levophed
Experience with Meditech EMR
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team environment
Ability to float between MedSurg and ER
One week orientation provided; must be able to adapt quickly
