Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, with rotating evening and weekend call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying studies
Operate GE imaging equipment and utilize Radnet and Merge Unity for image management
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
Collaborate with radiologists to capture diagnostic images
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to protocols

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Current BLS certification
Active California NMTL license
Proficiency with Radnet and Merge Unity PACS systems
Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac imaging and SPECT studies
Knowledge of GE imaging equipment
Ability to start IVs (not required for this role)
Familiarity with bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
