Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM), every third weekend and every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients across ICU, NICU, and general floors
Operate advanced ventilators (PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1) and non-invasive equipment (Airvo, V-60)
Collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust treatment plans
Make independent clinical decisions in critical situations
Cover all areas of the facility including Level II trauma, surgical, and cardiac units

Qualifications

Must have NICU experience
Active RRT or CRT credential
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
North Dakota state license or willingness to obtain
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory therapies
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency with ventilator management and high-flow oxygen delivery
