Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating, every 3rd weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert neonatal intensive care to premature and critically ill infants in a Level 4 NICU
Perform and assist with Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Maintain strict sterile field during procedures
Collaborate with neonatologists, midlevels, and multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Monitor and manage patients on ventilators, ECMO, and cooling therapy
Educate and support families through challenging NICU journeys

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience required
Previous travel experience preferred
Must pass SIMs lab on Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Ability to float to mother-baby and labor care for baby-only assignments
Comfortable working with high-acuity patients including cardiac defects and surgical cases

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Knowledge of sterile field maintenance and infection control
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Experience with Phillips telemetry systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced Level 4 NICU environment
