Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse and oversee daily operations
Administer medications accurately and safely
Perform comprehensive wound care and treatments
Provide compassionate care to residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes
Monitor residents' conditions and communicate changes effectively

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota (or compact state)
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience
Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in medication administration and wound care
Knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
Experience with EMR systems, preferably Matrix
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple residents
