Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes conditions
Titrate and manage critical drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Monitor continuous EEG and respond to changes in patient status
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed, expanding your skills
Maintain a positive attitude and strong communication in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Valid driver's license required at submittal
Minimum 1 year of PCU or similar experience preferred
Ability to pass an open-book exam during orientation with 90% or higher

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in titrating drips and managing cardiac medications
Comfort with continuous EEG monitoring
Adaptability to float between units and handle diverse patient populations
