Sonographer - General/OBGYN

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable days, 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; includes call 1-2 nights/week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound exams with precision and care
Assist with interventional procedures including biopsies and drainages
Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care
Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols

Qualifications

Active RDMS certification in General or OB/GYN (RVT or RDCS preferred)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of experience as a sonographer
Experience performing ultrasound-guided procedures
Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound techniques
Knowledge of Phillips ultrasound equipment
Experience with EPIC and Fuji PACS systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
