Registered Nurse - PCU
Location: Omaha, NE
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every third holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the PCU
- Monitor and manage continuous EEG monitoring and titrate critical drips (Cardizem, beta-blockers, seizure medications)
- Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety
- Foster a positive, fast-paced environment with critical thinking and problem-solving
- Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of PCU experience preferred
- Must pass open-book exam with 90% during orientation

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Critical thinking and ability to titrate multiple drips
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, high-acuity unit
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others
