Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Med/Tele/PCU unit
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac strips, responding to changes with confidence
Titrate critical drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, and more
Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and multidisciplinary team
Float as a helping hand to PCU or MS units when needed, ensuring seamless patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or telemetry experience
Proven ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
EPIC experience preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac care including post-cath, EP studies, and pacemaker management
Comfortable with high-acuity patients and rapid response situations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple drips and monitor patient responses
