Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms on telemetry, ensuring patient safety
Administer and titrate cardiac drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and others
Provide compassionate care to patients with cardiac, respiratory, and medical conditions
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes
Manage PCU level care overflow with a patient ratio of 1:3
Float to PCU or med/surg units as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU/Telemetry experience
Ability to independently interpret cardiac strips
Epic experience preferred; first-time travelers welcome
Willingness to float and work every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac rhythm interpretation and strip reading
Titration of vasoactive and cardiac drips
Telemetry monitoring and troubleshooting
Patient assessment and care planning
Epic electronic health record proficiency
