Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac, nephrology, and stroke care to adult and geriatric patients
Manage diabetes care and perform continuous EEG monitoring
Titrate cardiac and seizure medications with precision and safety
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to deliver excellent outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed to support the broader care team
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac care and drip titration expertise
Nephrology and stroke patient management
Diabetes management and continuous EEG monitoring
Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
Ability to problem-solve quickly in high-acuity settings
