Location: Oxnard, California

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and holidays as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to L&D and postpartum patients, including high-risk deliveries and emergency care
Circulate during C-sections and assist with deliveries
Monitor fetal heart tracings using FetalLink and Cerner EMR
Float to postpartum or NICU to care for grower/feeders as needed
Collaborate with OB and neonatology teams
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safe, compassionate care

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of L&D/PP nursing experience required
Prior travel experience preferred
Active RN license in California or compact
ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring (AWOHNN intermediate or advanced) certifications required
Stable certification preferred
Experience with Cerner and FetalLink preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring interpretation (intermediate/advanced)
Circulating C-sections
Postpartum and newborn care
High-risk OB management
Spanish language skills helpful
Strong communication and teamwork
