Shift Type: Wednesday-Friday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (night)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the assigned unit
Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with policies
Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes promptly to the team
Document care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with nurses, providers and support staff to create great care plans
Assist with admissions, discharges and transitions to ensure continuity of care
Respond effectively to urgent situations and support a calm, organized environment

Qualifications

Current LPN license in New Mexico (required)
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to work evening/night clinical shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
Local-only candidates preferred as noted in the order

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN/Vocational Nursing diploma)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of fundamental nursing practices and patient assessment
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Comfortable with wound care, vital signs monitoring and routine procedures
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
Teamwork, time management and triage prioritization skills
