Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and respect
• Support the nursing team by taking and recording vital signs and basic observations
• Document patient care accurately and communicate changes to the nurse in charge
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection prevention protocols
• Provide compassionate, respectful care in a structured facility setting
• Participate in a two-week orientation and ongoing team huddles to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (active in California)
• Willingness and availability to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Successful completion of the two-week orientation period
• Ability to pass facility-required screenings and background checks as applicable
• Previous experience in long-term care, med-surg, or correctional healthcare a plus
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (or willing to obtain)

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong basic patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
• Clear, respectful communication with patients and the healthcare team
• Accurate documentation and attention to detail
• Ability to follow established protocols and maintain patient safety
• Teamwork mindset and adaptability in a structured facility environment
