Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Assess and monitor patient condition, reporting changes promptly
- Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate effective treatment plans
- Maintain a safe, hygienic environment and follow infection control standards
- Support patients and families with education and emotional reassurance
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — must be valid in New Mexico
- Local candidates only (position is local hire)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing dependable weekend coverage
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing / Vocational Nursing program

- Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Medication administration and documentation
- Electronic health record charting and accuracy
- Basic wound care and hygiene support
- Infection control practices and patient safety
- Clear communication with patients, families and clinical teams
