Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse with compassion and clinical accuracy
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with orders
• Perform thorough assessments and document patient status clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
• Monitor patients for changes and escalate concerns to RN or provider when needed
• Support safe transitions of care, discharge planning, and family education
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (New Mexico) required
• Previous clinical LPN experience preferred; travel assignment experience a plus
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or able to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by the facility
• Comfort working evening to overnight hours and providing hands-on patient care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Solid knowledge of basic nursing assessments and vital sign interpretation
• Familiarity with wound care and routine nursing procedures
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Time management and prioritization during overnight shifts
