Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing function using evidence-based tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans that target meaningful functional goals
- Implement therapy and adjust approaches based on patient progress
- Collaborate closely with nurses, therapists and families to support continuity of care
- Document evaluations, treatment plans and progress notes in a timely and professional manner
- Provide education and training to caregivers and staff to support carryover
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania license or ability to obtain state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or active clinical credentials
- Experience with adult and geriatric populations preferred, especially in skilled nursing or rehab settings
- Current professional liability insurance and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognition and dysphagia
- Familiarity with documentation standards and clinical outcome measurement
- Ability to design functional, patient-centered treatment plans
- Strong communication skills for patient, family and team collaboration
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced rehab environment and adapting to varied caseloads
- Basic knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication strategies is a plus
