Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Perform safe patient transfers and mobility support with proper body mechanics
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
• Assist nursing team with timely documentation and accurate charting
• Support mealtime, hygiene, and comfort needs while promoting dignity and independence
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to help deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• T-CNA or equivalent training credentials welcomed
• Previous CNA or patient care experience preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a travel assignment schedule
• Current basic life support (BLS) may be required per facility policies
• Must be able to pass background check and any required health screens or immunizations

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certification as a CNA (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills including ADLs and safe transfer techniques
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection control practices and personal protective equipment
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and team members
• Basic charting and documentation skills; ability to follow care plans
• Dependable, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced long-term care setting
