Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing function using evidence-based approaches
- Develop individualized treatment plans that set clear, measurable goals
- Deliver skilled therapy sessions and adapt interventions to each patient’s needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate clinical records in the facility’s system
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy colleagues and interdisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care
- Provide patient and family education to promote carryover and functional progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discharge planning when appropriate
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
- Massachusetts SLP license required or eligible to obtain state licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or extended care setting preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with clinical workflows
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assessment and treatment of dysphagia and cognitive-communication disorders
- Proficient in developing measurable, patient-centered treatment plans
- Comfortable with interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination
- Experience with clinical documentation and documentation standards
- Strong interpersonal and patient/family education skills
