Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Support safe transfers, mobility, bathing, grooming and feeding with dignity
• Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Document care accurately and timely to keep the care team aligned
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment
• Work collaboratively with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA or T-CNA indicated)
• T-CNA or Travel CNA experience is a plus and welcomed
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass facility background checks and meet required health screenings
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and patient-centered approach

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in personal care, safe resident handling, and infection control practices
• Comfortable with basic charting and timely documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
• Able to follow care plans and take direction from nursing staff
• Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing resident needs
