Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Support safe transfers, mobility, bathing, grooming and feeding with dignity
- Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Document care accurately and timely to keep the care team aligned
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment
- Work collaboratively with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA or T-CNA indicated)
- T-CNA or Travel CNA experience is a plus and welcomed
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass facility background checks and meet required health screenings
- Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and patient-centered approach
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in personal care, safe resident handling, and infection control practices
- Comfortable with basic charting and timely documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
- Able to follow care plans and take direction from nursing staff
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing resident needs
