Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to identify impairments, functional limitations, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately in the EMR
• Supervise and mentor PT Assistants and Aides to ensure high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff to coordinate treatment and follow-up
• Ensure patient safety during transfers, exercises, and gait training
• Participate in clinic marketing and referral activities to grow your caseload when needed
• Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA policies to protect patient privacy and workplace safety

Qualifications

• Active or pending license as a Physical Therapist in California (must hold or be eligible to test soon)
• Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Experience with patient evaluation, treatment planning, and hands-on rehabilitation
• Proficient with Electronic Medical Records and clinical documentation
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and outpatient PT billing practices
• Ability to be physically mobile during 8-10 hour work days and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, physicians, and front-office staff
• Comfort supervising PT Assistants and Aides
