Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to older adults, focusing on dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team promptly
- Support mealtime assistance and maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to keep residents safe
- Engage residents with friendly conversation and meaningful social interaction
Qualifications
- GNA certification or state-equivalent certification (required)
- Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or able to obtain
- Comfortable working with geriatric populations and assisting with ADLs
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and dignity-focused support
- Skilled in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Knowledge of basic infection control and medication observation practices
- Good documentation habits and attention to detail
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
