Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to restore movement and function
• Deliver hands-on and therapeutic exercise interventions with clinical reasoning and compassion
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to ensure measurable improvement
• Document assessments and treatment notes clearly and on time to support teamwork
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to coordinate safe, goal-oriented care
• Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention for lasting results
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement and positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain one quickly
• Active BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Prior experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or post-acute settings is a plus
• Comfortable managing a full caseload and documenting per facility standards
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy considered where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and modalities
• Solid clinical reasoning and measurable goal-setting
• Proficient with documentation systems and timely charting
• Excellent communication and teamwork across disciplines
• Ability to adapt treatment plans to diverse patient needs and acuity levels
